Whether you're just starting your career or are already well into it, joining the ADF offers a fast track to leadership with extensive training and opportunities for further education. You'll hit the ground running, gaining experience that prepares you for more significant responsibilities.

The ADF provides a platform to develop your expertise in your chosen field while learning to lead and manage teams. You'll be equipped for higher-level roles quickly, gaining valuable skills that are highly transferable both within the ADF and in civilian careers.

Training Programs:

  • Navy: Royal Australian Naval College (15 weeks) at HMAS Creswell, Jervis Bay, NSW.
  • Army: Royal Military College (9 weeks) at Duntroon, ACT.
  • Air Force: Officers' Training School (12 weeks) at RAAF Base East Sale, Gippsland, VIC.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Graduate or final-year student from a recognized Australian university.
  • Australian citizen or meet the eligibility criteria for non-citizens.
  • Meet medical, physical, and Pre-entry Fitness Assessment (PFA) requirements.
